Condoleezza Rice, the first black woman to serve as Secretary of State has been busy talking tough to Russia. I've read that her speech on the 18th was stern and powerful. I'm not surprised. Condoleezza has always seemed like a strong woman to me. I mean, you have to be strong and well rounded to deal with the pressures of working so close to a moron like Bush. Man, she has a hard job. She is much more experienced to be VP than Sarah Palin. But there is that issue of her being black. Conservatives might not have gone for that. It also would have strengthened the "more of the same" theme.
