Condoleezza Rice, the first black woman to serve as Secretary of State has been busy talking tough to Russia. I've read that her speech on the 18th was stern and powerful. I'm not surprised. Condoleezza has always seemed like a strong woman to me. I mean, you have to be strong and well rounded to deal with the pressures of working so close to a moron like Bush. Man, she has a hard job. She is much more experienced to be VP than Sarah Palin. But there is that issue of her being black. Conservatives might not have gone for that. It also would have strengthened the "more of the same" theme.
We all come across weak men who blame others for their shortcomings. These men struggle with accountability and reject anything that challenges them to be better. In essence, they are narcissistic and self-centered. It is not easy to deal with such men, especially if you are in a relationship with them. Weak men often have fragile egos, and anything that threatens their fragile sense of self is perceived as a threat. We have to understand that these men are not secure within themselves, and they rely on external validation to feel good about themselves. Therefore, when you try to challenge them to be better, they feel like you are attacking them, and they become defensive. They cannot handle criticism, and they struggle with personal growth.
